The H-17619 inspection flange is for visually determin- ing the condition of the inside of line stopper fittings after the drilling operation is completed. This may be done under pressure with no blowing of gas. The flange contains a pressure-tight plastic window of sufficient strength to withstand a gas pressure of 500 psig. The retrieving rod has a ball-joint type of pressure seal per- mitting it to be raised or lowered, rotated or moved from side to side.
*The working pressure or temperature rating is reduced accordingly if any attachment, valve of fitting subjected to pressure or temperature has a maximum working pressure or temperature rating less than that specified above.The H-17619 inspection flange is used with line stopper units no. 1, 2, 3 3SW, 3SW-500 and 4SW.
For line stopping unit no. 1, It is used with the special inspection flange adapter, 83204, shown below.
For line stopping units no. 2, 3, 3SW, 3SW-500 and 4SW it is used with the drilling machine adapter attached to the line stopper unit gate valve.
The gate valve is then opened permitting visual inspection of the inside of the fitting including the hole drill- ing through the pipe. The retrieving rod may be used to locate, raise and hold above the gate valve any object which might interfere with the operation of the stopper such as chips, scale or a section of the pipe. The gate valve is then closed and the inspection flange and any object held by the retrieving rod are then removed from the adapter.
The following attachments are required for using the H-17619 inspection flange with line stopping unit no. 1 (1 1/2", 2", 2-1/4" And 2-1/2" line stopper fittings).

500557: 3" x 2-1/2" Bushing This Bushing is used to adapt the Inspection Flange Adapter to the 3" Gate Valve when using a 2 1/2" H-17155, 2' H-17125, 1-1/2", 2", or 2-1/4" H-17165 Line Stopper Fittings.
