Unit No. 2 Stopping Machine

Solid Rubber Stopper:
The solid rubber stoppers is used to make one sided stop-offs in Mueller line stopper fittings.

Full Bypass Rubber Stopper:
This stopper has a full slot to allow for either top bypass through the two Mueller Unit Number 2 Machines or a bottom bypass through the Mueller Bottom Out Line Stopper Fittings. These are used in pairs to isolate a section of pipe so repairs or modifications can be made while maintaining service to customers.

Top Bypass Rubber Stopper:
This stopper is used in pairs for a bypass line to be directed through the two Mueller Unit Number 2 Stopping Machines to isolate a section of pipe so repairs or modifications can be made while maintaining service to customers.

Bottom Bypass Rubber Stopper:
This stopper is used in pairs for a bypass line to be directed through the two Mueller Bottom Out Line Stopper Fitting to isolate a section of pipe so repairs or modifications can be made while maintaining service to customers.

Bottom Out Rubber Stopper:
This stopper is used in Mueller Bottom Out Line Stopper Fitting when the outlet is the section to be isolated so repairs or modifications can be made while maintaining service to customers.

Flanged Tee Stopper:
This stopper is used to stop off Mueller Flanged Service Tees which allows service and lateral connections to be isolated without disrupting flow through the existing main.

Steel Wedge Stopper:
Mueller polyurethane covered steel wedge stoppers are mechanically retracted and expanded for positive operation. These stoppers are made to be used with the full line of Mueller flanged line stopper fittings. (Polyurethane covered cylinder replacement kits and Positive Control™ Cover kits are available from Mueller Co.).

Bottom Out Rubber Stopper:
This stopper is used in Mueller Bottom Out Line Stopper Fitting when the outlet is the section to be isolated so repairs or modifications can be made while maintaining service to customers.

Replacement Cover Kits:
Stoppers with polyurethane covers may be returned to the factory for recovering — Contact your Mueller distributor, sales representative or Gas Customer Service for details. The factory can also convert to polyurethane older steel wedge stoppers that have Positive Control™ or Neoprene covers.
